During the “For God & Country Patriot Roundup” conference last month in Dallas, attorney Sidney Powell said that Trump “can simply be reinstated.” She continued, saying "And Biden is told to move out of the White House. And President Trump should be moved back in. I'm sure there's not going to be credit for time lost, unfortunately. Because the Constitution itself sets the date for inauguration. But he should definitely get the remainder of his term and make the best of it. That's for sure."

She also made comments saying that Trump should have fought harder than he did to stay in office. "He had all the tools he needed," she said. "From the day after the election, everyone else around him at the White House was telling him to just pack it up and go home." On “Gun Freedom Radio,” Powell said that “Trump was elected president again whether anyone likes it or not.”

Trump had originally hired Powell to represent his campaign after his loss in November to challenge the election results, but after Powell was mocked by many for making wild claims, Trump said that she was not a part of his legal team. Powell continued to submit election challenges on her own.

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency at the Department of Homeland Security said that the 2020 election was the "most secure in American history." They said there was "no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised." The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency at the Department of Homeland Security had been run by a Trump appointee at that time.

Sidney Powell is a heroine of the QAnon movement. At the “For God & Country Patriot Roundup,” she sat in front of the QAnon logo during an interview. The logo has the slogan “WWG1WGA,” which stands for “Where we go one we go all.” On “Gun Freedom Radio,” she pretended to not know what QAnon is, saying, “I don’t even know what that is,” later adding that “it couldn’t be more harmless from everything I know about it."

QAnon espouses that the United States is run by Satan-worshiping pedophile Democratic Hollywood elites and politicians. They allege that Trump is trying to bring down this ring of Hollywood elites. They also believe that this will lead to a “day of reckoning” where many prominent figures like Hillary Clinton will be arrested and executed. These are some of the basic tenets of QAnon. However, QAnon is a large movement with many different offshoots and internal debates, some of which contradict each other. According to a poll released by Public Religion Research Institute, 23 percent of Republicans agree with the statement "the government, media, and financial worlds in the U.S. are controlled by a group of Satan-worshipping pedophiles who run a global child sex trafficking operation." Also, 28 percent of Republicans believe that "true American patriots" may need to resort to violence in order to save the United States because it has gotten so far off track.

Trump is also seen as a hero of the QAnon movement. He does not explicitly endorse QAnon but has said that QAnon activists are "people who love our country."

Dominion Voting Systems has filed a $1.3 billion defamation lawsuit against Powell for making claims that they were involved in election fraud during the 2020 election and rigging the election for Biden.

Powell’s claims are often seen on the Steve Bannon-affiliated Populist Press, which is a far-right alternative to the Drudge Report. It often mentions claims about the election being fraudulent and having been stolen from Trump. Populist Press made Powell’s statements at the “For God & Country” conference their top story.
