Bravo Drops ‘Below Deck’ Star Nathan Gallagher After Domestic Violence Conviction and Arrest Warrant

Bravo has dropped “Below Deck Mediterranean” star Nathan Gallagher after he was convicted of three domestic violence offenses involving former partner and castmate Gael Cameron, while an arrest warrant remains active after he failed to appear in court in Australia.

A Bravo spokesperson confirmed the decision to Rolling Stone, saying, “Bravo does not plan on working with Nathan in the future.” The move ends uncertainty over Gallagher’s future with the franchise as Australian authorities continue searching for him.

Gallagher, 28, will remain in the rest of the current season of “Below Deck Mediterranean,” which was filmed before his December 2025 arrest. His appearances are expected to remain intact through the end of the season.

The network’s decision came days after Gallagher failed to appear at Burwood Local Court in Sydney on Sept. 1 to contest charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault and intentionally choking a person without consent.

Judge Janine Lacy proceeded with the hearing in Gallagher’s absence and found all three offenses proven. She then issued a warrant directing police to arrest Gallagher and bring him before the court.

New South Wales Police said Gallagher is believed to be offshore and has appealed for information about his whereabouts.

Gallagher had pleaded not guilty to all three charges before the hearing. His absence did not automatically produce the convictions. Under New South Wales procedure, a Local Court can hear a case when a defendant who had notice of the proceedings fails to appear and determine whether prosecutors have proved the charges from the evidence presented.

Gallagher has not yet been sentenced. The court cannot impose a term of imprisonment while he remains absent.

The case stems from a Dec. 26, 2025, confrontation between Gallagher and Cameron at a home in Melrose Park, near Sydney. The pair met while working as deckhands on the ninth season of “Below Deck Mediterranean” and later had a son together.

Prosecutors accused Gallagher of restricting Cameron’s breathing during the confrontation and later grabbing her by the neck and striking her. He was arrested the following morning.

Gallagher denied choking Cameron or covering her mouth and pleaded not guilty after his arrest. Cameron later sought an Apprehended Violence Order against him, and the court finalized a two-year protective order when the criminal case was heard.

Before the Sept. 1 proceeding, Gallagher acknowledged that he had “made mistakes” but disputed the public account of the incident.

“What has been publicly reported, however, represents only one side of what was an extremely complicated situation,” Gallagher told Rolling Stone.

He also claimed to have video, messages, and other evidence that would support a different account of what happened.

Gallagher has appeared in the past three seasons of “Below Deck Mediterranean.” His relationship with Cameron and their son has also been featured during the current season, including his efforts to remain involved with his family while working aboard the yacht.

Bravo has not said whether it conducted or plans to conduct a separate internal investigation into Gallagher’s conduct. Production company 51 Minds Entertainment has also not publicly addressed the case.

Gallagher remains wanted in Australia under the arrest warrant issued after his missed court appearance. His convictions remain in place, but sentencing cannot move forward with a potential prison term unless he is brought back before the court.
